Through our Integration Programme we will try to help you with everything, from the big steps in life to the small ones. Whether you need to find your new home, want to bring your dog to Denmark, or just want to join the local badminton team, we will aid you the best we can. We will have multiple status talks and follow-up conversations, both before and after your move to Denmark. In this way, you always have the opportunity to clear insecurities or discuss issues when they arise, so you are better prepared for your new life in Denmark.
At Medicolink, we consider the integration process a family matter, as it concerns all of you. We customise our integration programme to suit the needs of each candidate and your family in the best possible way. Thus, full commitment is required not only by you, us, and your future employer, but also by your family members.
Medicolink’s integration programme runs for at least one and a half years: From the moment you begin the five month’s long language course, we hold regular talks with you and your partner to ensure that you are feeling well and have your basic needs taken care of, so you can focus on the Danish language course. Once you start your new life in Denmark, we follow up with designated talks with you and your family after 3, 6 and 12 months, respectively, in order to hear how you are getting along with your new life in Denmark and to offer our assistance should you need any input or guidance in adapting to Danish society.
“Medicolink helps in arranging and sorting things to make the move so much more smoothly. Their teachers teach you the language in an excellent way (got many compliments of native Danish people!). Furthermore, they help you also to find a house, to get a license to practice (Really, we did not do anything except delivering our documents to Medicolink) and getting the permission to stay. They do everything to get you to Denmark.”
During our process, you will have a midway visit during the language course, through which our Account Managers will guide you around the city, and you will visit your future employer, and Danish schools and kindergartens for your children if any. By the time you arrive in Denmark to start working at your new place, you will already have been through our extensive language courses and workshops which enable a smooth transition and an easier integration process.
We also give a helping hand to your partner as well. During our partner program, we will discuss expectations about life in Denmark: work skills, hobbies, interests, and personal preferences are taken into consideration and a preliminary integration plan is prepared, and we aim to provide useful information for finding future employment in Denmark. The spouse’s well-being is essential to the entire family and therefore a special concern for us. We will help arrange your move to Denmark, apply for your authorisation to work as a Doctor in Denmark, and navigate in the Danish system.
Naturally, we also help in deciding which school to choose for your children. During your midway visit, you will have the chance to visit different schools and kindergartners to see which one would be the most suitable for your children. Plentiful citizens choose Denmark as the ideal place to settle down with a family, hence, you will find numerous international schools and kindergartens across the country, where your children will easily fit in.
